Description:
As a Micro Focus PPM System Administrator and Developer, you will be responsible for the administration, configuration, and development of the Micro Focus Project and Portfolio Management (PPM) system. You will ensure the smooth operation, optimization, and continuous improvement of our PPM environment to support our project management and business objectives.
• Administer and maintain the Micro Focus PPM system, ensuring its availability, performance, and security.
• Configure and customize the PPM system to meet organizational needs, including workflows, dashboards, and reports.
• Develop and implement integrations with other enterprise systems and applications.
• Collaborate with project managers, stakeholders, and IT teams to understand requirements and provide effective PPM solutions.
• Perform regular system updates, patches, and upgrades to ensure the PPM system remains current and secure.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to the PPM system, providing technical support to users as needed.
• Develop and deliver training materials and sessions for end-users to maximize the effective use of the PPM system.
• Monitor system performance and implement enhancements to optimize performance and user experience.
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for configurations, customizations, processes, and procedures.
• Proven experience as a System Administrator and Developer for Micro Focus PPM or similar project management software.
• Strong understanding of project and portfolio management principles and best practices.
• Proficiency in configuring and customizing PPM systems, including workflow design, report generation, and dashboard creation.
• Experience with scripting and programming languages such as SQL, JavaScript, and PL/SQL.
• Familiarity with integrating PPM systems with other enterprise applications (e.g., ERP, CRM).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
